The Optimist Club of Overtown is dedicated to fostering holistic development in its community members through a variety of engaging programs. These programs aim to inspire and empower individuals of all ages, focusing on self-discovery, well-being, emotional development, social emotional learning, language exploration, creativity, and summer employment. Mindfulness sessions, Social Emotional Learning activities, Spanish for Beginners program (K-8), and Music and Visual Arts programs encourage self-expression and artistic discovery. The club also offers One Week Spring Break and 8-week Summer Camp experiences, offering a blend of fun and education. The Summer Youth Employment initiative provides valuable skills and experiences for youth. The club’s commitment to creating a vibrant, nurturing environment fosters growth, creativity, and community.
